| Our Field has come along way since we moved from our old field in Summit Valley near Fondulac Park. The five acres we occupy was part of a corn and bean field until the Spring of 2005. We started from scratch with everything and currently have it looking like a golf fairway with three buildings: Pavilion type shelter, equipment shed, and outdoor facilities. The field is 630 by 130 feet of flight deck with 25 feet of high grass buffer on each North/South end. A quarter-mile access lane has been established starting at the Cruger turnoff that goes 120 yards South, turns West for 280 yards and South for 30 yards to the edge of the field. The flight deck is a North/South runway. The parking lot can accommodate about twenty cars with overflow for over thirty-five. We have no electricity or running water available. A camping area will hold around forty-five campers or tents. |
