Our membership in 2007 was 49. A new count will be posted following the deadline for Dues on March 15, 2008.
Anyone wishing to join the club must belong to the Academy of Model Aeronautics, Inc. (that requires an entry fee of $58 to the AMA), attend two of our WRCF meetings, and be voted in by the active members.
We meet on the second Tuesday of each month:
During the Summer - At the WRCF Flying Field 6:30pm
During the Winter - At the Washington Park District Building on Spruce Street at 7:00pm
The WRCF Flying Field is East of the city of Washington, IL located off Crugar Road one and 3/4 miles East of the Main and Cruger intersection. It is marked on Cruger Road by two street signs, Speerly Lane and Washington RC Flyers along with a large WRCF logo sign. It is on forty-five acres of Special-Use Zoned property leased from the city of Washington. We occupy five acres of flying turf. Field maintenance is performed by club members. A mowing schedule is published annually and work parties for special projects are arranged as needed.
